Covering an area of 33,192 square meters with a registered capital of RMB 20 million, it is a comprehensive modern high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, sales, and service.
The company focuses on the R&D, production, and sales of hydrophilic chain extenders 2,2-dimethylolbutanoic acid (DMBA) and 2,2-dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA). DMBA and DMPA are widely used in waterborne polyurethane and are key raw materials for waterborne coatings, waterborne leather finishes, waterborne adhesives, and waterborne inks.
DMBA has been produced in China for more than a decade. However, due to the difficulty of production, unstable processes, and complex chemical reactions with low selectivity that cause serious “three wastes” problems, Chinese DMBA producers struggled and eventually shut down completely. Although DMPA is relatively easier to produce, only a few manufacturers are still in production. DMBA supply has long been cut off, and most DMPA relies on imports. Many waterborne materials manufacturers eagerly hope to reverse this passive situation and obtain domestically produced DMBA and DMPA as soon as possible. Jiangxi Jiyu New Materials Co., Ltd. was established against this background, rising to the challenge to advance China's waterborne materials development and revitalize the DMBA and DMPA industry.

The newly built DMBA production workshop has reached a capacity of 1,200 tons/year, and the newly built DMPA production workshop has reached 3,500 tons/year. The new workshops use excellent brand-new equipment. In addition to mature traditional batch processes, continuous production process lines have also been built. After stabilizing DMBA and DMPA production and opening up the market, the company plans to expand product categories and extend into polyurethane products.
